The new 2025 Nissan Pathfinder is a mid-size SUV that has been part of Nissan’s vehicle lineup for years. This fifth generation introduces a new look. However, V6-powered vehicles remain the only powertrain option. To be more competitive, future models must provide something unique. However, Nissan has allegedly stopped production of the 5.6-liter engine.

But don’t worry, Nissan still has some cool things to enjoy! Maybe they will provide new technology to help the driver, such as additional safety features on the base version. Plus, there might be some new color choices and upholstery options to liven it up a bit.

Nissan is presenting the sixth edition of the Pathfinder for the 2022 model year, which has evolved over several generations. Surprisingly, this generation migrated without significant changes. This package adds 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, 3-zone climate control, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. The SV adds a keyless start, heated seats, and adaptive cruise control. For example, the maximum towing option can increase your payload to 6,000 pounds. Furthermore, Bose Luxury Audio can provide 13 speakers. What About Interiors? The Nissan Pathfinder has a luxurious interior that provides comfort, especially for the driver and passengers. The 2025 Pathfinder has three rows of seating and can accommodate seven to eight people. Nissan offers good-quality interior materials, especially on higher trim levels, with leather seats, wood or metal accents, and soft-touch surfaces. Lower trims favor durable fabric seats and simpler materials.

Seating prioritizes comfort, with some trim levels including power-adjustable front seats and lumbar support for customized relaxation. Higher models may feature heated and ventilated seats for increased comfort. But if you want to buy one, there are some great upgrades available. You can swap out that 8.0-inch screen for a bigger one, opt for leather seats that feel super plush, and even add a large panoramic sunroof to let in those beautiful rays of sunlight.

Engine, Performance & MPG

What about Pathfinder engine power? So far we don’t have detailed information. However, the CarsDirect website reveals that a 3.5-liter V6 engine is something to expect from the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder. With sufficient power, but makes you feel comfortable as if driving on the road. This SUV has 284 Horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, with a nine-speed automatic gearbox sending power to the front axle, or all four if the buyer so desires.

What about fuel savings? We expect the most efficient 2025 Nissan Pathfinder. with optional all-wheel drive, that will return a rating of 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. With front-wheel drive, you get about 23 mpg combined. while with all-wheel drive, it returns a reasonable 21 mpg combined. We hope that the 2025 Pathfinder will also receive these values.

2025 Nissan Pathfinder Competitors

It’s interesting to see the competition! Buyers can make their choice on a three-row midsize SUV, but the Pathfinder is one of the best deals. To not waste your money, of course, there are many choices. The 2025 Pathfinder has good towing capacity and three rows of seating are roomy. but there is no cargo space.

The 2025 Ford Explorer is the same price as the base trim level, and the Kia Telluride remains our top choice in its class because of its comfortable ride and ample standard amenities. However, if you like the Honda Pilot, Mazda CX-90, and Volkswagen Atlas. It is more expensive because it comes with a more luxurious interior and more high-tech gadgets.
